I was born in Germany on June 14, 1971 and now I live in Bratislava and Brussels and I am a devoted European. My career in journalism and politics has been about informing and connecting people. In 1994, I co-founded the English-language newspaper The Slovak Spectator. Then, in 2002, I moved to Belgium to lead European marketing for The Wall Street Journal. After six years, I was hired as CEO of Euractiv.com, an independent political news network about the European Union. Eight years later, I moved into politics, becoming the executive director of Women Political Leaders (WPL), a global network of female politicians, and since 2023 I have been co-chairman of Volt Slovakia.
