BRATISLAVA, 5. februára 2024 – Volt Slovensko, the Slovak chapter of the pan-European political movement Volt Europa, announced that their members have elected Co-Presidents and an Interim Co-President.

Lucia Kleštincová and Rick Zedník were elected as Co-Presidents for 2024-2026. They had been serving as Co-Presidents since May 2023, when they announced Volt’s intention to run in the 2024 European elections.

Zuzana Púčiková was elected as Interim Co-President from February to June 2024, filling the role in place of Kleštincová, whom Volt Slovensko members elected in November 2023 as their Lead Candidate for the European elections, which will be held in Slovakia on 8 June.

“I am thrilled that Zuzana has accepted the role of Volt Slovensko Co-President for this period,” said Kleštincová. “She is one of the top Slovak professionals involved in European affairs, with extensive experience in digital technologies and sustainable mobility. Thanks to her previous successes in leading teams and in cooperating with European institutions on behalf of leading global brands, she brings to our team valuable skills necessary for the growth of the Volt movement in Slovakia.”

“Volt Slovensko could not be more fortunate than to have Zuzana in a leadership role during the coming months of the European election campaign,” said Zedník. “Beyond her professional credentials, her contagious energy has already had a positive impact in her first days of working with Volt Slovensko members and stakeholders.”

“I am grateful for this unique opportunity to be part of a truly historic moment for the European Union, in which Slovaks can play an important role," said Púčiková. “I believe that thanks to Volt – as the only political party with a pan-European program and mindset – they will be.
