Elected representatives / Ružiná Municipal Council

Teacher. Councillor. Someone who brings people together.

I have worked in education for more than four decades. Throughout my career, I have served as a teacher, Deputy Principal and Principal. Today, I live in Ružiná, where I serve as a Municipal Councillor and Deputy Mayor.

Who I Am

Ružiná has become my home.

I am a wife, mother, teacher and, for the past nine years, a resident of Ružiná. After moving from Lučenec, where I was born and spent most of my life, I gradually got to know the village, its people and its strengths. Today, I am one of those who want to actively contribute to its development.

I have dedicated my entire professional life to education. Serving as a Principal brought me both my greatest responsibilities and my most valuable experience in leadership, school management and strategic decision-making. Alongside this, I was actively involved in education at the local government level as a member of the Municipal School Council and the Education Committee of the Lučenec Municipal Council. This work taught me how to organize, lead teams, communicate, resolve conflicts and find solutions even in challenging situations.

In my free time, I enjoy cycling, spending time with family and friends, cooking, looking after flowers and occasionally playing the guitar. I believe that strong relationships and an active community are what make a village a good place to live.

I want to put my experience to work for our community.

I entered local politics in the previous elections. Residents placed their trust in me, and I was elected to the Municipal Council. I currently also serve as Chair of the Education, Sport and Culture Committee in Ružiná.

During this time, I have seen that even small ideas can improve life in our village when people are willing to work together. That is why I want to continue the work we have started.

I am not motivated by politics for its own sake. I want to use my experience in organization, management and working with people to make Ružiná an even better place to live. I enjoy listening to residents, discussing their concerns and supporting good ideas that benefit the whole community.

My Priorities

Revitalizing the Primary School Grounds

As a teacher, I care deeply about providing children with a good environment not only for learning, but also for relaxation and extracurricular activities. I want to support the repair and installation of playground equipment, completion of the outdoor shelter and overall improvements to the school grounds, so that children can enjoy them both during the school day and in after-school activities.

A Day Centre for Senior Citizens

We have a responsibility to create good living conditions for older members of our community. I will support the establishment of a day centre for older residents, providing a welcoming space for socializing, leisure activities and spending time together. I want older people to feel valued in our village and have opportunities to remain active members of community life.

A Library That Brings People Together

I want to support the relocation and reopening of our municipal library, transforming it into a welcoming place for reading, relaxing and meeting others. I envision a library with a reading room and a cozy space where residents can enjoy a coffee, have a conversation or simply find a quiet moment for themselves.

My Vision for Ružiná

I envision Ružiná as a village that cares for children, families and older residents alike. A place with good public services, a vibrant cultural life, opportunities for sport and welcoming spaces to relax.

Looking ahead, I believe we should invest in sports facilities, a cycling path around the reservoir, recreational opportunities, the library, high-quality public spaces and better services for older residents. At the same time, I want Ružiná to preserve its strong sense of community and good neighbourly relationships.

I Believe in Cooperation and Open Communication

Throughout my professional career, I have learned that good results do not happen by chance. They come from listening, cooperation and mutual respect.

I enjoy organizing events, communicating with people and bringing different groups in our village together. I believe a community thrives when local government, schools, nurseries, local organizations and residents all work together.

That is why I want to continue organizing cultural and social events that bring people together, regardless of age.
