“I don't want to play politics. I want to get things done.”

A Nové Mesto local. Mother of two. A manager who gets things done.

I was born and raised in Nové Mesto. I grew up on Tehelná Street and now live in Koliba, where my family and I experience everyday life in our borough. I am a project manager and entrepreneur with many years of experience in leading teams, managing complex projects and handling crises. I am standing for Volt Slovakia because I believe local politics should deliver practical solutions, not unnecessary bureaucracy. I want to help make Nové Mesto a safer, more modern and better-functioning place for families, older residents and young people alike.

Who I Am

I know Nové Mesto as my home, not from behind a desk.

I grew up on Tehelná Street, and today I live in Koliba, where I am raising my children. I do not know the problems facing our neighbourhood from official reports. I experience them every day – in morning traffic jams, on the way to school, walking through our streets and talking to neighbours. That is why I care about making practical decisions for Nové Mesto that respect the people who live here.

As a mother of two, I know how important safe routes to school, high-quality public spaces and a healthy environment are for children growing up. The issues I want to focus on are part of my everyday life.

My professional experience has taught me how to manage complex projects, coordinate teams, handle crises and turn good ideas into tangible results. I believe this is exactly the kind of management approach local politics needs today.

Why I Am Standing for Election

Talking about problems is not enough. I want to solve them.

I am not entering local politics to hold political office. I am standing for election because I am tired of seeing things go nowhere and responsibility being passed from one person to another. I am someone who naturally looks for solutions rather than excuses. When I see a problem, I do not want to wait for someone else to fix it.

Every day, I see the same problems recurring – morning traffic jams around schools, neglected public spaces and small issues left unresolved for months. I believe many of them can be solved with common sense, better organization and a willingness to act.

I am standing for election now because problems cannot wait. I want to bring more action, less bureaucracy and greater cooperation with residents into local politics. I do not just want to point out what is not working. I want to help change it.

My Priorities

Smarter, Safer Routes to School

I want parents to feel confident letting their children walk, cycle or ride a scooter to school. But keeping children safe does not have to mean introducing measures that unnecessarily inconvenience drivers throughout the day.

That is why I will advocate for safe pedestrian crossings, smart traffic solutions and variable speed limits around schools during the hours when children are actually travelling to and from them. Modern solutions can protect children while also respecting residents' needs.

Smartphone-Free Schools

Children's mental health is an issue I want to focus on in the long term. In cooperation with the civic association Offline svet, I want to encourage open discussions with parents, teachers and school principals about healthy technology use.

My goal is to create school environments where children have more opportunities to concentrate, learn, play sports and build genuine relationships. I want to support rules that limit smartphone use during lessons and contribute to a healthier school environment.

Efficient Local Government, Less Bureaucracy

I firmly believe that local government should be a partner to its residents. The local authority should resolve problems quickly, communicate clearly and respond to residents' concerns without unnecessary delays.

As a manager, I want to promote practical solutions, faster improvements to neglected areas, better planning of repairs and more efficient local administration. I believe even small changes – such as repairing traffic mirrors, improving road signs or organizing maintenance work more effectively – can make a significant difference to residents' everyday lives.

My Vision for Nové Mesto

Nové Mesto – A Better Place to Live

I envision a borough where parents feel confident letting their children walk to school, where schools provide a healthy environment free from digital overload, and where public spaces support residents' everyday lives.

I want Nové Mesto to be a place where the local authority works as a partner to residents, problems are addressed quickly and respectfully, and infrastructure repairs are planned sensibly, with consideration for everyday traffic conditions.

At the same time, I want Nové Mesto to preserve its strong sense of community, good neighbourly relationships and the welcoming atmosphere its residents create together.
