My name is Peter Mojžiš. Although I was not born in Prievidza, I have lived here for almost 20 years. I am self-employed in the construction industry, and during the winter months, I work as a meter reader and technician for a housing cooperative.

In my free time, I am actively involved in sports. I co-founded an armwrestling club in Prievidza and participate in chess as an organizer, arbiter and player.

Why I Am Standing for Election

I have decided to stand for Volt Slovakia in the upcoming local and regional elections. What appeals to me is that Volt is a pan-European political movement with a well-considered division of responsibilities between the European, national and regional levels. There are areas where cities, regions and local communities have the greatest influence on people's quality of life – and that is why I believe Volt is the right choice for me in these elections.

Why are you standing for election?

Because cities and local communities play a crucial role in shaping our everyday quality of life, and as a Prievidza resident, I want to make my contribution.

What will be your main priorities?

I want to focus on issues that fall directly within the responsibilities of the city and local community and have the greatest impact on everyday life in Prievidza. I intend to define my specific priorities after speaking with residents.

How can residents get involved?

I welcome every suggestion, meeting or conversation. You can also contact me through Facebook.
