About this internship

You will work as an online communication assistant for Lucia Kleštincová, co-president and lead candidate of Volt Slovakia for the European elections. You will get the opportunity to work closely with her on a daily basis and you will be jointly responsible for her presentation on social networks. You will help in creating presentation opportunities, preparing interviews and creating engaging communication for social networks. All this will be created in close coordination with the leadership of the Volt Slovakia party, the strategic and communication team working on our campaign for the European elections.

Key tasks

Help manage selected accounts of Lucie Kleštincová on social networks (by agreement, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. - not all at once, but according to your preferences and time possibilities)

Create various forms of content for these accounts (photo, video, reels, copywriting)

As far as possible, accompany Lucia during her upcoming campaign for the European elections

Advise on Lucia's communication strategy

Other tasks

Participate in coordination meetings of the Volt Slovakia communication team and, as necessary, the Volt Europa team

Independently monitor the current events in the European and Slovak political space and the current trends of SoMe algorithms

To help in the development of Lucie Kleštincová's communication strategies

Who are we looking for?

A SoMe guru who is waiting for the opportunity to transform his addiction into meaningful creation in cooperation with an inspiring European leader

The joy of creating pro-European communication

Experience with SoMe content creation, video production and SoMe profile management in accordance with current trends

Ability to write clear and engaging texts in the Slovak language

Solid design skills and knowledge of Adobe and/or Figma products

Active knowledge of English

Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, proactively, with excellent reliability and attention to detail

The desire to spend a lot of time with Lucia and the joy of the opportunity to mentor each other

Practical information

You can start as soon as we agree. The internship will last at least until June 2024.

It is up to you whether you want to carry out this cooperation remotely, or partly in Bratislava / elsewhere in the regions where Lucia will be moving

The internship is unpaid, or with the possibility of a pinch, if our common network allows it. FYI Volt Europa community is built on volunteering from juniors to top leadership.

Who is Lucia Kleštincová?

Catalyst of European transformation, coach specialized in female leadership and burnout prevention. Until recently, she worked at the European Commission on various policies, from the digitization of public procurement to Brexit negotiations to the promotion of the principle of equality as a member of Commissioner Helena Dalli's Task Force. Since May 2023, she is the co-president of Volt Slovakia. At the same time, it supports the spread of a new leadership culture of organizations and their activists who want to combine the desire for a societal impact with their own authenticity and well-being. It does so through leadership programs, mentoring circles, or publishing activities. As a graduate of the University of Economics in Bratislava, London School of Economics, Solvay Business School and Kingstown College, you can often meet her at global career events for a new generation of leaders ready to engage in the political space.
